Our story
Meat The Cheese opened on 21 December 2017. Two cities and roughly five thousand reviews later, the argument has not changed.

The first branch opened on 21 December 2017, in DHA Phase 6, Karachi. The mark that still runs above the door — ESTD. 2017 — dates from that year.
By 2019 there was a second room in Gulberg III. In December that year, Meat The Cheese won Best Innovation Dish at Karachi's first restaurant awards, voted for by the public.
When the All Pakistan Restaurant Association took a public position on delivery platform commissions in September 2020, Meat The Cheese stood with them — and said the most authentic way to eat the food was still to sit down in front of it.
Karachi now trades from Tipu Sultan Road in PECHS. Both rooms have been rebuilt. Between them they hold more than five thousand Google reviews and an Instagram audience of ninety-three thousand.
The menu still reads like two different restaurants wrote it, and that is on purpose. The beef sections are called Prime Beef and Premium Steak Selection, and every Angus cut carries its weight in grams. Everywhere else you get Thunder Thigh, Old Fella Mozzarella and Our Deep Fried Pride.
That is the whole personality in one document: absolutely serious about the meat, not remotely serious about itself.
